The Mark Keppel Aztecs basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Crenshaw Cougars to 51 in the Aztecs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Aztecs now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to La Canada for a non-league game on Friday, January 2. Mark Keppel will play a Spartans team coming off a 65-57 non-league win over Walnut (Walnut, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-6.
The Cougars (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Torres (Los Angeles, CA). The Toros come into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Torres held off University Prep Value (Los Angeles, CA), 68-53, in a non-league test.
