The Trinity Christian Lions (Lubbock, TX) basketball crushed the host Coronado Mustangs (Lubbock, TX), 83-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions (14-6) will now prepare for their test against San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 17-3 record. In their last test, San Angelo Central walloped Cooper (Abilene, TX), 42-34, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 11-7 record. They play next when they host Cooper for a 5A Region I District 4 test on Tuesday, January 3. Coronado will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 63-52 non-league win over Hillcrest (Dallas, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 12-7.
