Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Harrison Goblins (Harrison, AR) and the visiting Dumas Bobcats (Dumas, AR), saw Harrison's basketball squad hold off Dumas by a tally of 54-53.

With the victory, Harrison improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Goblins travel to Alma (Alma, AR) to play the Airedales in a 5A West challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Airedales come into the challenge with a record of 1-6.

Next up, the Bobcats play the Smackover Buckaroos (Smackover, AR) in a 3A Region 8 challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Dumas will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record.
