South Dakota High School Basketball - St. Mary trounces Waverly/South Shore

The St. Mary Cardinals (Dell Rapids, SD) basketball crushed the visiting Waverly/South Shore Coyotes (Waverly, SD), 68-35 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cardinals (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Garretson (Garretson, SD). The Blue Dragons go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Garretson was trounced by Estelline/Hendricks (Estelline, SD), 72-34, in a non-league test.
The Coyotes now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Northwestern Area for a B Region 1 test on Monday, January 2. Waverly/South Shore will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 79-39 league win over Wilmot (Wilmot, SD). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
