Texas High School Basketball - Smyer can't hold off Kingdom Prep Academy

The Kingdom Prep Academy Warriors basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Smyer Bobcats to 36 in the Warriors non-league victory on Saturday.
The Warriors now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plains for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Kingdom Prep Academy will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 63-25 non-league win over Crosbyton (Crosbyton, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 18-3.
The Bobcats (6-15) will now prepare for their contest against Hale Center (Hale Center, TX). The Owls come into the 2A Region I District 4 contest with a 17-5 record. In their last contest, Hale Center edged Spur (Spur, TX), 50-47, in a non-league contest.
