The Quitman Bulldogs basketball team (Quitman, AR), was nudged 52-49 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Southside Southerners (Batesville, AR)
The Southerners now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forrest City for a 4A Region 3 battle on Tuesday, January 3.
The Bulldogs (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Izard County (Brockwell, AR). The Cougars come into the 2A Region 2 battle with a 1-5 record.
