Next, the Tigers clash with the West Rusk Raiders (New London, TX) in a 3A Region II District 16 test, on Friday, January 3. Troup will attempt to improve on its 15-5 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 8-6 record after their 66-49 non-league loss to Lindale (Lindale, TX).

The Indians (5-15) will now prepare for their test against New Summerfield (New Summerfield, TX). The Hornets come into the 2A Region III District 22 test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, New Summerfield went down by Mt. Enterprise (Mt. Enterprise, TX), 52-46, in a league test.
