With the victory, Lake Dallas upgrades its record to 11-11 on the year. The Falcons travel to Sanger (Sanger, TX) to face the Indians in a 4A Region II District 9 match on Friday, January 3. The Indians enter the match with a record of 17-3. Sanger won 63-42 in their recent non-league match against Fort Worth Country Day (Fort Worth, TX)

The Mustangs now sport a 11-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Birdville for a 5A Region I District 6 match on Friday, January 3. Grapevine will face a Hawks squad coming off a 69-50 non-league win over Kennedale (Kennedale, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 21-1.
