The Wildcats (22-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Childress (Childress, TX). The Bobcats come into the 3A Region I District 1 challenge with a 7-14 record. In their last challenge, Childress defeated Follett (Follett, TX), 68-21, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tornadoes battle the Hartley Tigers (Hartley, TX) in a 1A Region I District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Texline will attempt to better on its 12-8 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 52-27 league win over Adrian (Adrian, TX).
