The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Geneva Eagles (Boerne, TX) and the visiting Robstown Cottonpickers (Robstown, TX), observed Geneva's basketball team overwhelm Robstown by a margin of 58-27.

The Eagles (17-4) will now prepare for their challenge against John Paul II (Corpus Christi, TX). The Centurions come into the TAPPS 4A District 5 challenge with a 12-11 record. In their last challenge, John Paul II trounced Premont (Premont, TX), 44-17, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cottonpickers battle the Zapata Hawks (Zapata, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 31 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Robstown will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 71-30 non-league loss to Bandera (Bandera, TX).
