North Kitsap Vikings (Poulsbo, WA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sumner Spartans (Sumner, WA), 74-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, North Kitsap upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Vikings host Olympic (Bremerton, WA) to clash with the Trojans in a 2A Olympic bout on Tuesday, December 7. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Spartans clash with the Olympia Bears (Olympia, WA) in a 4A South Puget Sound bout, on Thursday, December 9. Sumner will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 66-32 non-league win over Kelso (Kelso, WA).
