The Shining Star Sports Academy Panthers basketball team scored 84 points and held the visiting King's Christian Academy Lions to 79 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Sunday.

The Panthers now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Minnesota Prep Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Shining Star Sports Academy will battle a Diplomat Lions team coming off a 72-64 non-league loss to Dream City Christian (Glendale, AZ). The Diplomat Lions record now stands at 0-1.

The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Ridge Christian (Bridgewater, VA). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Blue Ridge Christian nudged United Christian Academy (Stanardsville, VA), 58-34, in a non-league contest.
