Connecticut High School Football - Shelton succumbs to Maloney

The Maloney Spartans thwarted the visiting Shelton Gaels football team by a count of 28-14 in Sunday's non-league outing.

With the win, Maloney upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to New Canaan (New Canaan, CT) to encounter the Rams in a non-league outing on Saturday, December 10. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 11-1. New Canaan won 23-13 in their recent non-league outing against Cheshire (Cheshire, CT)

With the loss, Shelton moves to 7-5 on the season.
