The Loyola Blakefield Dons basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Archbishop Curley Friars to 32 in the Dons non-league victory on Monday.

The Dons now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount St. Joseph for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 6. Loyola Blakefield will battle a Gaels team coming off a 66-36 non-league win over St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD). The Gaels record now stands at 6-0.

The Friars (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Severn School (Severna Park, MD). The Admirals come into the MIAA B - Black contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Severn School was routed by St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD), 56-44, in a non-league contest.
