The Arvin Bears basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Boron Bobcats to 35 in the Bears non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bears now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shafter for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Arvin will meet a Generals team coming off a 57-52 non-league loss to West (Bakersfield, CA). The Generals record now stands at 3-3.
The Bobcats (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hesperia Christian (Hesperia, CA). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Hesperia Christian was nudged by Silver Valley (Yermo, CA), 65-35, in a non-league contest.
