Fulton Pirates (Middleton, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bath Fighting Bees (Bath, MI), 51-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fulton upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Pirates host Montabella (Blanchard, MI) to play the Mustangs in a Mid-State bout on Friday, December 8. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Montabella won 58-43 in their recent league bout against Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MI)

Next up, the Fighting Bees play the St. Patrick Shamrocks (Portland, MI) in a Central Michigan bout, on Wednesday, December 6. Bath will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Shamrocks go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 58-51 non-league loss to Webberville (Webberville, MI).
