The St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) basketball nipped the visiting Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA), 51-49 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cadets (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC). The Lions go into the DCSAA AA test with a 1-2 record.
The Cadets now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cape Henry Collegiate for a Tidewater Independent test on Wednesday, December 6. Benedictine will encounter a Dolphins squad coming off a 67-56 non-league win over Norcom (Portsmouth, VA). The Dolphins record now stands at 1-1.
