The Cherokee Washington Braves basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Ridge View Raptors to 58 in the Braves non-league triumph on Monday.

The Braves now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest Webster for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Cherokee Washington will battle a Cougars team coming off a 61-41 non-league win over South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.

The Raptors (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against River Valley (Correctionville, IA). The Wolverines enter the contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, River Valley ran past Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove (Ida Grove, IA), 56-46, in a league contest.
