Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA), 59-53 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Granite Hills upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Morse (San Diego, CA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Morse won 56-47 in their recent non-league bout against Army-Navy (Carlsbad, CA)

Next up, the Foothillers play the West Hills Wolf Pack (Santee, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Grossmont will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Wolf Pack come into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 54-48 non-league win over O'Farrell Charter (San Diego, CA).
