The Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA) basketball felled the visiting Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA), 60-52 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cubs (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Saydel (Des Moines, IA). The Eagles go into the Heart of Iowa - Large test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Saydel thwarted Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA), 57-45, in a league test.
The Cadets now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS for a North Central test on Friday, December 8. Iowa Falls-Alden will meet a team coming off a 52-50 league loss to St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA). The record now stands at 0-1.
