Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Jordan Panthers (Long Beach, CA), 83-70 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mayfair upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Monsoons travel to St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-1. St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy lost 72-71 in their recent non-league bout against Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, CA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Norco Cougars (Norco, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 6. Jordan will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 64-53 non-league win over South East (South Gate, CA).
