Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Minersville succumbs to North Schuylkill

December 4, 2023: Ashland, PA 17921

The North Schuylkill Spartans topped the visiting Minersville Battlin' Miners basketball team by a final score of 47-36 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Tamaqua Blue Raiders (Tamaqua, PA) in a Schuylkill County 1 game, on Wednesday, December 6. North Schuylkill will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Blue Raiders enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 57-26 non-league win over Shenandoah Valley (Shenandoah, PA).

With the defeat, Minersville moves to 1-1 on the year. The Battlin' miners host Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA) to face the RED TORNADOES in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 5. The RED TORNADOES enter the game with a record of 1-0. Mount Carmel won 65-60 in their recent non-league game against Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA)
