Triumph Charter Jaguars (Sylmar, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting New West Charter Eagles (Los Angeles, CA), 61-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Triumph Charter upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Sherman Oaks CES won 60-43 in their recent non-league bout against Hawkins (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks (Los Angeles, CA) in a Crosstown bout, on Wednesday, December 6. New West Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Sharks go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 80-62 non-league win over Downtown Magnets (Los Angeles, CA).
