Washington High School Basketball - Spanaway Lake fells River Ridge

December 4, 2023: Spanaway, WA 98387

Spanaway Lake Sentinels (Spanaway, WA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting River Ridge Hawks (Lacey, WA), 62-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Spanaway Lake upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Sentinels host Mount Tahoma (Tacoma, WA) to play the T-Birds in a 3A Pierce County bout on Friday, December 8. The T-Birds go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Mount Tahoma won 88-70 in their recent non-league bout against Lindbergh (Renton, WA)

Next up, the Hawks play the Timberline Blazers (Lacey, WA) in a 3A South Sound bout, on Wednesday, December 6. River Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Blazers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 59-51 non-league loss to Rainier Beach (Seattle, WA).
