Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Thurston Eagles (Redford, MI), 60-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brighton upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 6. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Athens Red Hawks (Troy, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Thurston will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
