Plum Mustangs (Pittsburgh, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA), 62-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Plum upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Gateway (Monroeville, PA) to play the Gators in a WPIAL 5A 1 bout on Friday, December 15. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 0-3.

Next up, the Bobcats play the North Hills Indians (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Beaver will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 61-58 non-league loss to St. Joseph (Natrona Heights, PA).
