Rice Consolidated Raiders (Altair, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Brazos Cougars (Wallis, TX), 39-9 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rice Consolidated upgrades its record to 1-9 on the season. The Raiders host Needville (Needville, TX) to play the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 0-8. Needville lost 28-23 in their recent non-league bout against Ganado (Ganado, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Brazos will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 36-26 non-league win over North Forest (Houston, TX).
