North Carolina High School Basketball - Union Pines routs Douglas Byrd

In Monday's non-league outing, the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Douglas Byrd Eagles (Fayetteville, NC), by a margin of 65-30.

The Vikings (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Bears go into the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Gray's Creek was trounced by Union Pines (Cameron, NC), 36-27, in a non-league outing.

The Eagles now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Scotland for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 5. Douglas Byrd will clash with a Fighting Scots squad coming off a 48-26 non-league win over Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Fighting Scots record now stands at 3-0.
