The Swanton Bulldogs basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Gorham Fayette Eagles to 40 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evergreen for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Swanton will battle a Vikings team coming off a 32-30 non-league loss to Morenci (Morenci, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 1-2.
The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Montpelier (Montpelier, OH). The Locomotives enter the Buckeye Border contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Montpelier was defeated by Delta (Delta, OH), 43-37, in a non-league contest.
