The Luis Valdez Leadership Academy Lions basketball team (San Jose, CA), was overwhelmed 80-3 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Richmond Oilers (Richmond, CA)
The Oilers now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Rafael for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 6. Richmond will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-54 non-league win over Redwood Christian (San Lorenzo, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.
The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against DCP Alum Rock (San Jose, CA). The Lobos come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, DCP Alum Rock was overwhelmed by Eastside College Prep (East Palo Alto, CA), 30-27, in a non-league battle.
