The Mendon Unity Mustangs (Mendon, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Rushville-Industry Rockets (Rushville, IL), 71-51 in Monday's league test.

The Mustangs (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Seymour (Payson, IL). The Indians go into the Freelance test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Seymour went down by Hamilton/Warsaw (Hamilton, IL), 77-40, in a league test.

The Rockets now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Macomb for a non-league test on Thursday, December 7. Rushville-Industry will encounter a Bombers squad coming off a 62-16 non-league loss to Quincy (Quincy, IL). The Bombers record now stands at 2-7.
