Next, the Cougars confront the Gonzales Spartans (Gonzales, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Santa Catalina will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over North Salinas (Salinas, CA).

The Mariners now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Francis for a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 7.
