Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Liberty Indians (Liberty, NY), 44-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Goshen Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Gladiators host Monticello (Monticello, NY) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Monticello lost 43-40 in their recent non-league bout against Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY)

Next up, the Indians play the Eldred Yellowjackets (Eldred, NY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 6. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
