With the victory, McFarland upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host East Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Blades in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 6. The Blades come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Orange Cove Titans (Orange Cove, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Granite Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
