The Surry Central Golden Eagles basketball team (Dobson, NC), was nudged 58-53 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC)
The Vikings now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bethany for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 6. North Stokes will battle a Wolves team coming off a 83-36 non-league loss to Carver (Winston-Salem, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 2-3.
The Golden Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Sauras come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, South Stokes was nudged by Reagan (Pfafftown, NC), 46-32, in a non-league battle.
