In Monday's non-league battle, the host Fairmont Prep Huskies soccer squad scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Kennedy Fighting Irish.
The Huskies (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Tarbut V' Torah (Irvine, CA). The Lions come into the San Joaquin battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Tarbut V' Torah nudged Avalon (Avalon, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
