In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting North Forest Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 60-57 triumph over the Austin Mustangs.

The Bulldogs (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Washington (Houston, TX). The Eagles go into the 4A Region III District 20 contest with a 5-1 record.

In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Waltrip Rams (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 21 contest, on Saturday, December 7. Austin will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 75-54 non-league win over Northside (Houston, TX).
