The Duarte Falcons basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting El Monte Lions to 36 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Falcons now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Pioneer for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. Duarte will play a Titans team coming off a 83-36 non-league win over Montebello (Montebello, CA). The Titans record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, El Monte falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Garey (Pomona, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 5-1. Garey won 64-23 in their recent non-league game against Eastside Christian (Fullerton, CA)
