In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Elmwood Park Tigers basketball team scored a big 53-25 win over the Round Lake Panthers.
The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Rams come into the Upstate Eight contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Glenbard East was trounced by Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL), 64-55, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL) in a Northern Lake County contest, on Saturday, December 7. Round Lake will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 56-49 non-league win over Woodstock (Woodstock, IL).
