The North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC) basketball were winner over the host Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC), 53-42 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Northwood for a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina bout on Friday, December 6. North Moore will play a Chargers team coming off a 67-41 non-league win over Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Southwestern Randolph falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Asheboro (Asheboro, NC) to play the Blue Comets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 6. The Blue Comets go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Asheboro won 55-42 in their recent non-league bout against Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC)
