The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the South Albany Redhawks (Albany, OR) and the host Putnam Kingsmen (Milwaukie, OR), observed South Albany's basketball team overwhelm Putnam by a score of 69-46.
The Redhawks (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Forest Grove trounced Aloha (Beaverton, OR), 62-38, in a non-league challenge.
