The Salem Seminoles basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Hapeville Charter Hornets to 31 in the Seminoles non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Seminoles now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Tucker for a non-league game on Thursday, December 5. Salem will confront a Tigers team coming off a 61-41 non-league win over Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Hapeville Charter falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hornets host Creekside (Fairburn, GA) to confront the Seminoles in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. The Seminoles go into the game with a record of 1-0. Creekside won 51-50 in their recent non-league game against Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA)
