The Chesapeake Panthers (Chesapeake, OH) basketball toppled the visiting Symmes Valley Vikings (Willow Wood, OH), 49-37 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Gallia Academy for a Ohio Valley bout on Tuesday, December 10. Chesapeake will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 52-33 league win over Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Symmes Valley falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Vikings host Glenwood (New Boston, OH) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 12. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-1.
