Florida High School Basketball - George Jenkins crushes Mulberry

December 4, 2024: Mulberry, FL 33860

The George Jenkins Eagles (Lakeland, FL) basketball crushed the host Mulberry Panthers (Mulberry, FL), 55-33 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Charlotte for a non-league bout on Friday, December 6. George Jenkins will play a Fightin' Tarpons team coming off a 58-54 non-league loss to Gateway (Fort Myers, FL). The Fightin' Tarpons record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Mulberry falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Lake Region (Eagle Lake, FL) to play the Thunder in a 4A District 7 bout on Monday, December 9. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 3-0.
