In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Nooksack Valley Pioneers basketball team scored a close 40-33 win over the Sultan Turks.
The Pioneers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Murphy (Everett, WA). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record.
