The Powers Catholic Chargers ice hockey team scored 13 points and held the host Mt. Pleasant Oilers to 0 in the Chargers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Chargers now own a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host University Liggett for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7. Powers Catholic will encounter a Knights team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Knights record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Mt. Pleasant moves to 1-5 on the season. The Oilers travel to Gladwin (Gladwin, MI) to encounter the Flying G's in a non-league bout on Friday, December 6. The Flying G's go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Gladwin lost 6-1 in their recent non-league bout against Central (Bay City, MI)
