The A.L. Brown Wonders basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Northwest Cabarrus Trojans to 47 in the Wonders non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wonders now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Purnell Swett for a non-league game on Friday, December 6. A.L. Brown will confront a Rams team coming off a 64-26 non-league win over Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Rams record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Northwest Cabarrus falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Friday, December 6. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 1-1. East Rowan won 63-41 in their recent non-league game against North Stanly (New London, NC)
