The Iona Prep Gaels basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Archbishop Molloy Stanners to 50 in the Gaels non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Gaels now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Xavier for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10.
With the loss, Archbishop Molloy falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Stanners host Kellenberg Memorial (Uniondale, NY) to confront the Firebirds in a non-league game on Monday, December 9. The Firebirds go into the game with a record of 0-0.
