In Thursday's non-league test, the Canyon Lake Hawks (Fischer, TX) basketball squad trounced the visiting Gregory-Portland Wildcats (Portland, TX), by a score of 46-21.

Next, the Hawks encounter the Aransas Pass Panthers (Aransas Pass, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 5. Canyon Lake will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 2-4 record after their 66-47 non-league win over Incarnate Word Academy (Corpus Christi, TX).

The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Incarnate Word Academy (Corpus Christi, TX). The Angels go into the non-league bout with a 2-9 record. In their last bout, Incarnate Word Academy was ripped by Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX), 40-38, in a non-league bout.
