The Grants Pirates basketball squad (Grants, NM), was outscored 84-67 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Taos Tigers (Taos, NM)
With the victory, Taos advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Tigers host Valencia (Los Lunas, NM) to battle the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 6. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Valencia lost 54-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM)
In their next game, the Pirates battle the Laguna Acoma Hawks (New Laguna, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 6. Grants will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 55-46 non-league loss to Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM).
